La Glorieta (Barrancas de Belgrano)

Afternoon Milonga

6 PM - 10 PM

"La Glorieta"
(Berrancas de Belgrano)

Great outdoor milonga in the middle of a park, very casual, no seating arrangements, tables nor service of any kind. Good dancing - people place their things on the floor (not reccomended to take valuables of any kind).
(Note) You don't need to carry your passport with you at any time, only a copy will be sufficient if needed. In the milongas women generally carry their dancing shoes to change out of their street shoes. In most of the milongs they have places for a peso! I don't reccomend taking any more money than you would need. Use the wardrobes, most places have them.

Evening Milonga

12 AM - 6 AM

"La Viruta"

(Armenia 1366)
Only milonga that the couples night does not rule, maybe because they are so young or that they left their other half home sleeping. On Saturdays they only play Salsa, Rock and Roll and other assorted music for about an hour and a half.

Evening Milonga

11 PM - 4 AM

"El Trovador"

(Vincente Lopez)

Out of the city (half hour) milonga. Hardly any tourists because of the distance. Also, couples night but you ocassionally find some unoccupied men. Nice place, good food.

Evening Milonga

11 PM - 3 AM

"Cachafaz"

A word on Saturday milongas. It is customary here that Saturdays are "couples" night. This means that there are less single men, so bear this in mind. About this milonga, it takes place in the same building as Nino Bien on Thursdays, so I can say that this place is very nice.

Evening Milonga

11 PM - 4 AM

"Sunderland"

(About half an hour from downtown). Also couples night; some tourists go here because men have a unique way of dancing (so they say).To see this you must have a good table by the dance floor. Not always available because of the people that have been going there forever get the best tables.
